ESPARTO — November 2, 2026. Yolo County Parks lists Esparto Community Park at 17001 Yolo Avenue as a four-acre recreation site adjacent to State Route 16.
What the park offers
The county identifies lawn and turf space, shade trees, picnic tables, barbecue facilities, a playground and public restrooms. That makes it a useful choice for a casual family gathering or a shorter stop in town.
No overnight camping
The public park directory expressly prohibits overnight camping. A picnic stop cannot be turned into an RV or tent overnight stay simply because the park has open grass and restroom facilities.
Reservations and maintenance
Organized events may involve different rules from ordinary day use, and facilities could close for work or weather. Consult Yolo County Parks for a current permit and amenities before inviting a large group or advertising a paid event.
