ESPARTO — November 2, 2026. Tuli Mem Park at 17257 Yolo Avenue in Esparto opened in May 2019 following a community effort to create local swimming and outdoor recreation facilities.
What is on the site
Yolo County describes an 8.67-acre park with an eight-lane swimming pool, wading pool, basketball court, soccer field, youth softball area, walking path and gathering space. The aquatics building includes bathrooms, showers, changing rooms and a meeting room.
Who helped fund the park
The county says a local recreation association began pushing for the project in 2001. Support came from a $2.9 million California state parks grant awarded in 2012, local assessment funds and contributions from the county, school district and Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation.
Seasonal availability matters
A physical pool in the park does not mean supervised swimming is offered throughout November. Families should check the current program calendar, admission and lifeguard schedule before planning a pool visit.
